can’t stop thinking about hotel beverly tom by minuro takeyama.  definitely one of the coolest structures i’ve discovered in the last few years. built in 1973 hokkaido, japan.
eighty rooms are syncopated in three quarters of the cylinder a restraunt and roof garden are indicated by other syntactic changes.  the phallic form is coded with other functional meanings – new paradigm in architecture the language of post-modernism
